A little about the Copperworks

Quicksilver Copperworks was originally established in 1968 in Eugene, Oregon where I participated in the downtown Saturday Market for several years. In Gainesville, Florida, I worked in association with Demian's Leathers crafting custom designed buckles and artwork. Having an engineering background, an opportunity arose to work in the solar energy industry. Work in copper became directed toward the design of commercial water heating systems and the fabrication of flatplate solar collectors. Work there evolved into hydronic heating systems and radiant floor heating. After machining, manufacturing, drafting and technical writing, I am glad to be returning to the arts.
